Hey There everyone! Jason and I wanted to provide everyone with an update on the future of Icarus Tech! We first of all wanted to thank everyone for all of the love and support we have received from customers and the people we have met along the way. We have decided off the back of collectfest we will not be re opening our store side of things, In the last two years we loved the people we have met however seeing the state of the Retro game store industry and some of the operators with in it, it is no longer a industry we want to be a part of. We have strived to be transparent and honest at all times and this seems to be unfortunately out of the norm so we are deciding to walk away. If you have any click and collects or things on hold please message us to organise for these to be delivered after payment. We will be keeping the mod and repair side of things open because helping people and sustainability, however, this side of things will be done via post going forward. Some take aways from having this business we want to share with our beloved customers are that most things are repairable! Please don’t just buy new items because something is broken, Love and share physical media and please always check what your items are worth before trading in and risking being taken advantage of! We urge any of our customers who are loyal to us in our absence to support the following people as they are truly wonderful and genuine people who want the best for the industry!
